ABOUT
LINKED SPHERES is an innovative online platform dedicated to critical analysis and idea exchange, fostering discussions with leading artists on the influence of technology in shaping our creative and societal landscapes.
Inspired by Bruno Latour’s insights, the project delves into the intricate relationships between various social spheres and the interconnected networks that define contemporary existence, focusing on the intersections of art, technology, and human experiences.
Through captivating conversations and showcased artworks, LINKED SPHERES examines how technological advancements such as AI, robotics, and virtual reality impact personal relationships and fundamental rights. Featured artists actively engage with and challenge technology, offering unique perspectives on this dynamic relationship.
The platform’s interactive navigation, inspired by the rhizomatic model of Deleuze and Guattari, dynamically links various perspectives and practices, creating an immersive environment for exploration and discourse.
Join LINKED SPHERES in exploring these themes and engaging with artists who critically reflect on and reimagine technology’s role in society.

MANIFESTO
WHAT?
Linked Spheres is an innovative platform for critical analysis and the exchange of ideas. We will explore and re-imagine the relationship between art, technology and human experience, in public and private spheres.
Through conversations with creatives and showcasing their work, we will examine how technology impacts the quality and authenticity of personal relationships, creative practice, and our wider interpersonal interactions.
WHO?
We, as a curatorial team, are committed to an inclusive editorial approach.
Our online platform will highlight creatives, mapping new terrains, and prioritising potential over prestige. Self-achieved success coming from a challenging background can be part of our selection and will be celebrated. Our aim is to continuously promote artistic innovation and critical thinking.
When we have to use labels, adjectives and names to define certain collectives or groups of people with similar circumstances, we will use proactive words with positive connotations. i.e. ‘Creative technologists from diverse origins and experiences’. We will do this where it is appropriate.
HOW?
We will focus on the relevance of the contributors’ work within our project’s ethos, and allow them to present themselves the way they feel best.
We will offer contributing artists the possibility to take over the Linked Spheres social network and use it as they find relevant; in order to share their thoughts, inspirations, references and practices. They may understand it as an additional tool for their contribution to Linked Spheres.
We will present the contributors on social media, i. e. summarising their conversations with us to create a dialogue with the audience through open questions to be shared in the comments or interactive stories.
We, as a curatorial team, will practice active listening with our contributors in order to meet their needs and expectations related to our project. Always keeping in mind the scope of our reach and potential possibilities.
We will offer our support to ensure contributors are best placed to showcase their ideas and thoughts.
We will do our best to maintain the quality of the platform to uphold the contributors’ reputation and ensure their growth.
